Hojicha Bio Gokase

A tea made of toasted green hoji tea, which once brewed emanates an uncommonly reassuring warmth and an almost chocolatey nuttiness while perfectly uplifting.

Tea drunk throughout March 2022. Cha Do Raku recommended brewing 1 teaspoon in 200mL at 100 Celsius, but my preference in the morning is for 1,5 teaspoons in 250mL at roughly 90 or 95 Celsius, to allow a little more green sweetness to be teased out.
