Wulong (Oolong)
Wulong (Oolong) comes from 烏龍茶/wūlongchá, or “dark dragon tea”, is a semi-oxidized green tea produced through a process than generally includes withering the plant under strong sun and oxidation before curling and twisting. Many wulongs involve unique tea plant cultivars that are exclusively used for those wulong varieties. The degree of oxidation can range from 8% to 85%.
