May 2022 Writing Corner Schedule

I thought last month was going to be a whirlwind, and it was! At this time — cue that TikTok soundtrack of frantic typing as I try to get this schedule out before the first Writing Corner of the month — it's looking like May is going to be just as or even busier! I'm excited, very apprehensive, and also looking forward to experiment a little with the schedule.

So far, I've been using Monday evenings for the Writing Corner. For May, I also want to see if slightly earlier on Friday evening or Saturday in the afternoon might also work. So this is what the schedule will be for May:

  • My engagement: Prepare three different possible writing exercises for writing sprints that we can possibly engage with during the Writing Corner, including a custom prompt exercise for writing short bits of microfiction.
  • Proposed discussion topic: A discussion about people's current projects in-progress, and how they're going! Let's power through writer's block together!
